FAQ

Curbside Contactless Click and Collect pickup is a service that allows borrowers to place holds on print items and safely retrieve them from smart lockers without having to come in contact with staff or crowds.

These lockers are located near the Regions ATM and US Post Office on Drake Drive and are accessible for pickup 24/7.

You can use this service to pick up print items, that are not available in digital formats.

To place a hold on a print item:

Click here to visit the library's website

Log in to your account, by clicking "Log in" at the top of the page.

Enter your A# and Pin.

If you have not set up an account before, click "Register" to create an account.

If you have forgotten your Pin, click "Forgot your Pin?" and follow the instructions to recover your Pin.

Use the search bar to search for an item that you would like to place on hold.

When you find an item that you would like, click "Place hold"

Click on the drop down box and select "CCCC Locker Pickup" as the Pickup Library.

Once a staff member has received your hold request, you will receive an email letting you know that we are processing your hold.

Once your hold is available for pickup, you will receive an email letting you know that you can come pick up your hold. This email will include a locker number and a 4-digit pin.

After receiving this email, you will be able to travel to the lockers to pick up your item any time 24/7.

When you arrive at the lockers, locate the locker that your item is in, enter your 4-digit pin, and retrieve your item.

Once you have retrieve your items, you are good to go! The item is already checked out to you.

You will receive an email letting you know that your item is ready to be picked up. This will include instructions, a locker number, and a 4-digit pin.

We will work to fill your request as soon as possible, but please allow up to 2 business days for your locker pickup to be available.

Look in the email that you received letting you know your item(s) are ready for pickup and you will see the locker number and the PIN for opening your locker. Locate the locker number that your items are in and enter the 4-digit PIN on the keypad. The locker will unlock, and you can retrieve your item(s).

After you receive notice that your item(s) are ready and receive your locker number and PIN you can pick your items up from our lockers any time 24/7, even after the library has closed.

Your items will only be held for 4 business days. So, make sure you pick them up within that time period.

Once your item(s) have been placed in the locker for you to pick up, they are already checked out to you.

You can email us at CCCC@aamu.edu before placing your hold or you can respond to the first email that you receive to let us know that you would like to request accessibility accommodations. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

This service is for local borrowers who will be in the area to pickup their items from the Curbside Contactless Click and Collect pickup lockers. If you are planning to be in the area and are able to access campus to pickup your items during the pickup window, then you can use this service.

If you are out of town and will not be able to access campus to pickup your items, then you will not be able to use this service.

You can if you have a Community User Account. If you don’t have one, you will first need to apply for a Community User Account and pay the $50 fee by coming to J.F. Drake Learning Resource Center. See our Community User Policy for more information.

If you are a faculty/staff member or a student from Athens State College, Calhoun Community College, Oakwood University, or J.F. Drake State Technical College, you can come to the J.F. Drake Learning Resource Center with a validated identification card from your institution to be issued a library account. Once you have your library account, you can utilize this service.
