Finding Articles Online:

 

You can search for scholarly articles online from the LRC, your home, your dorm, or you mobile device! If you have an internet connection, then you can search for scholarly articles wherever you are! Once you have your topic, follow the steps below to start your search.

1. Identify keywords / search terms

2. Access the appropriate database

3. Conduct your search using your keywords and search terms

4. Evaluate your search results

Finding Articles In The LRC

Finding Articles in Print:


The LRC has many scholarly journals available in printed format. These journals are kept in the Serials department of the LRC and can be searched using our online catalog (AMCat). Follow the steps below to locate your print articles.

1. Identify keywords / search terms

2. Access the online catalog

3. Conduct your search using your keywords and search term

4. Locate the appropriate journal

5. Retrieve the journal from the Serials department

6. Scan the journal to find a relevant article.
