Course Description

Physical Chemisty Lecture II

A study of chemical kinetics, electrolytic conductance phenomena, electromotive force, quantum theory, molecular structure and spectroscopy, macromolecules, surface chemistry, crystals, and nuclear chemistry.

Learning Outcomes

1.       Students will develop and understanding of surface chemistry and applications.

2.       Students will develop an understanding of quantum mechanics, spectroscopy and applications in Chemistry.

3.       Students will develop an understanding of electrochemical phenomenon and applications.

4.       Students will develop an understanding of chemical kinetics and reaction mechanisms.

5.       Students will develop an understanding of essential nuclear chemistry (i.e. binding energy and nuclear reactions)
